SAN DIEGO–Build Up Korea President & Founder Mina Kim is the Salt & Light Council featured lecturer at 5:45 p.m. (PST) Mon., Feb. 16 speaking on “A Strong Korea Makes a Great America.” Register here for the free monthly zoom lecture.

Mina Kim spoke during Freedom Uncensored 2025 held Oct. 24-25 at Liberty University School in Lynchburg–one month after Charlie Kirk’s assassination on Sept. 10th at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.

“The Media is telling lies,” said Kim. “I saw how truth was silenced and faith mocked and freedom was slipping away. God is calling me to stand against it. When I attended an AmericaFest (Turning Point USA’s annual convention), something in me came alive. This was the second turning point in my life. The first turning point was meeting Jesus personally.

“The mission between Korea and America is to dispense truth and defend freedom. I went to Pastor Rob McCoy’s church out of the blue and I said you need to help me. You need to come to Korea and he said: ‘ok.’ That word became a miracle; as he told me the next day Charlie Kirk was speaking at a seminar.

“Some 150 years ago, missionaries came to Korea. Later, they would inspire a young man who became the first president of South Korea. Because of love for America and its values, Korea rose from the ashes to become one of the top 10 economies in the world and the second largest missionary-sending nation in the world after the United States. Today, we are seeing young believers praying and speaking truth. Revival begins with courage.

“Charlie Kirk came to Seoul, South Korea five days before passing away. He wanted to visit two places: the Korea DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) with North Korea and the statue of General Douglas MacArthur. This was his last trip before going home to heaven.”

“America and Korea and the world must run together. God is not done with America. God is not done with Korea. A strong Korea makes a great America.”
