Stories Speak Volumes: Mar 10-Mar 13
A Round-Up of National and International News
Compiled by
There are so many stories making up the mosaic of national/international news that we can’t cover them all every week. The biggest stories now seem to be: Israel and Iran, the Trump presidency (lawfare and judges), immigration (migrants and illegals), wars, weaponization of government (the deep state) against Trump and conservatives, our nation’s debt, massive inflation, climate change controversy and related expenses of government, industry attempting to address these issues, the Chinese threat, national security, abortion, taxpayer cuts, Ukraine peace, and hatred and violence against Christians. Here are just a few:
Fox News’ Will Cain Reveals Paid Protest Machine Behind Anti-Trump Iran Demonstrations
March 10: Red State by Jim Hoft
Fox News host Will Cain pulled back the curtain on a tightly connected ecosystem of far-left activist organizations repeatedly showing up behind anti-Trump, anti-ICE, pro-Palestine, and now pro-Iran protests. And according to Cain, the same names and the same funding sources appear again and again.
Cain pointed to several organizations whose logos and organizing infrastructure repeatedly appear on protest posters and social-media calls to action. Among the most prominent:
- ANSWER Coalition (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism): Founded shortly after the September 11 attacks and has long organized anti-war demonstrations. This outfit has “well-documented connections to Hamas and Iran,” according to a 2024 House Committee report.
- National Iranian American Council (NIAC): Accused in 2020 of being an unregistered foreign agent with deep ties to the Iranian regime. Founded in 2002, they’ve consistently shilled for Iran while embedding themselves in these so-called “protests.”
- The People’s Forum: A 2017 creation obsessed with “anti-imperialism and anti-capitalism” – code for hating America and everything it stands for. They’ve organized in support of Palestinians, defended Columbia University students expelled for anti-Semitic antics.
- Code Pink: A far-left activist organization known for staging protests in the halls of Congress, has led demonstrations opposing U.S. military actions and has organized pro-Palestinian activism for years.
Left-Wing Activists Caught Plotting to Rig Juries Against Trump DOJ Prosecutions
March 10: Red State by Ben Smith
A left-wing activist network is training liberals how to slip onto juries in federal cases and then vote “not guilty” to derail prosecutions brought by the Trump Justice Department.
Recordings and training materials tied to the group Freedom Trainers show activists being coached on how to conceal their left-wing views during jury selection and then use jury nullification once they are seated on a jury. The webinars, slide decks, and pamphlets behind the effort all push the same approach: Blend in during selection, say the right things to get seated, and use the jury room to block convictions.
The premise is straightforward. Look like any other potential juror, avoid signaling their radical political agenda, and make it through voir dire, the jury selection process, without raising suspicion. Once deliberations begin, however, the guidance shifts sharply.
Spain: Court Orders Madrid to ‘Immediately’ Start Registry of Abortion Objectors
March 10: Breitbart by Christian Caruzo
The High Court of Justice of Madrid (TSJM) on Monday ordered the city’s authorities to “immediately” begin creating a registry of conscientious objectors to abortions, following a years-long refusal by Madrid’s local government to comply with its creation.
In 2023, Spanish leftist lawmakers introduced a series of reforms to the nation’s existing abortion law that, among several other equally questionable changes, called upon the mandatory creation of a registry of healthcare professionals who exercise conscientious objection to performing abortions.
Several local governments of the nation’s autonomous communities (states) refused to comply with the registry in the following years — which prompted socialist Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez to formally demand that Madrid and other communities comply with the registry in October 2025.Weeks later, in November 2025, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, President of the Community of Madrid reiterated Madrid’s refusal to create a “list of doctors” in Madrid who refuse to perform abortions, stressing, “I’m not going to make a list of doctors. Never. Never,” and reportedly proclaiming, “go abort somewhere else.”
Went Woke, Now Disney Recovering from Broke?
March 10: Western Journal by Bryan Chai
It’s not exactly a secret that the modern Walt Disney Company has effectively become a cabal of far-left ideologues seeking to indoctrinate children. Just look at some of the recent disasters from the House of Mouse:
- The live-action “Snow White” — which sought to deconstruct the timeless fairy tale through fourth-wave feminism — was an unmitigated disaster.
- Star Wars spin-off “The Acolyte” — complete with lesbian space witches — killed off whatever cultural heft the once-beloved Lucasfilm property had.
- Toy Story spin-off “Lightyear” was so poorly received that Disney promptly went back to the safe route of making another numbered mainline entry in the property.
Actress Candace Cameron Bure Reveals She Accidentally Walked Into ‘Dark and Demonic’ Underground ‘S&M Sex’ Party
March 11: Gateway Pundit by Jim Hoft
Actress Candace Cameron Bure, best known for her role as D.J. Tanner on the beloved family sitcom Full House, recently shared a shocking personal story about an unsettling experience she once had at a party she unknowingly attended with her husband.
Speaking candidly on “The Candace Cameron Bure Podcast,” Bure recounted a disturbing moment during a conversation with guest Madison Prewett Troutt, known for her conservative values on The Bachelor Season 24, when the topic turned to embarrassing or uncomfortable situations people face when they follow friends into environments they later regret.
Bure admitted that one of the most “shameful” experiences of her life involved attending what she thought would be a normal gathering with her husband, former NHL star Valeri Bure, only to discover it was something entirely different.
As a proud mother of three and wife to former NHL star Valeri Bure, Candace has consistently championed faith, family, and freedom in an industry dominated by woke agendas and moral relativism.
Her escape from this “demonic” gathering echoes the warnings from other conservative voices about the hidden vices in Tinseltown, where Epstein-style parties and elite debauchery thrive under the radar. This comes at a time when America is fighting back against the radical left’s push to normalize everything.
White House Gives Update on Average Tax Refund for Americans
March 11: Newsweek by Andrew Stanton and Gabe Whisnant
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, citing new IRS and Treasury Department data, said the average federal tax refund this filing season is more than $3,700; higher than during the same period last year. She said nearly 63.5 million tax returns have been processed so far, representing about 45 percent of the total expected by the April 15 deadline.
Leavitt attributed the increase to recently enacted tax cuts backed by President Donald Trump, saying millions of Americans are beginning to see their effects. She said more than 27.5 million filers have claimed at least one of the president’s new tax provisions, including exemptions for tips, overtime pay, car loan interest and enhanced deductions for seniors.
Citing Internal Revenue Service and Treasury Department data, Leavitt said:
- Over 3.5 million returns claimed no tax on tips.
- More than 15.5 million returns claimed no tax on overtime pay.
- Over 9.2 million returns claimed an enhanced deduction for seniors.
- About 690,000 returns claimed no tax on car loan interest.
- Nearly 3.5 million “Trump accounts” have been opened for children.
ROTC Students at Old Dominion University Subdued and Killed Shooter Who Left 1 Dead, 2 Hurt
March 12: Gateway Pundit by Mike LaChance
A former Army National Guard member who had spent eight years in prison for attempting to aid the Islamic State opened fire on a classroom at Virginia’s Old Dominion University on Thursday before ROTC students subdued and killed him, authorities said. He had yelled “Allahu Akbar” before the shooting, which left one person dead and two wounded, according to the FBI.
Dominique Evans, special agent in charge of the FBI’s Norfolk field office, said at a news conference that the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps students showed “extreme bravery and courage” and prevented further loss of life by stopping the gunman, Mohamed Bailor Jalloh.
The students subdued him and “rendered him no longer alive,” Evans said. “I don’t know how else to say it.” She confirmed Jalloh wasn’t shot (but beaten to death by the ROTC students). The campus shooting is being investigated as an act of terrorism, FBI Director Kash Patel said on social media.
GOP Senator Fights for Life on Capitol Hill
March 12: The Daily Signal by Virginia Grace McKinnon
Sen. Josh Hawley introduced new legislation Wednesday calling on Congress to stand up against chemical abortion. Pro-life advocates, spiritual leaders, lawyers, and women who took abortion pills gathered to share their testimonies on Capitol Hill at a press conference introducing the legislation.
“We are here today to issue a call to action, to call on the United States Congress to stand up and to protect the innocent unborn, to protect the health and safety of women whose lives are endangered by the chemical abortion drug known as mifepristone,” the Missouri Republican senator announced.
Hawley said the bill, titled the Safeguarding Women from Chemical Abortion Act, will withdraw the Food and Drug Administration’s approval of mifepristone, prohibit the drug’s manufacture or labeling as a pregnancy termination under the federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, and allow women harmed by the pill to sue manufacturers for damages.
Tina Peters Found Not Guilty After Being Attacked by Inmate in Prison
March 12: Gateway Pundit by Joe Hoft
In mid-January, Peters was assaulted by another inmate in prison in what appeared to be an effort to get Peters to react violently. Today, the Prison Board ruled that Peters acted in self-defense.
Report: Democrats Plot Investigations into Companies, Colleges That Worked with Trump
March 13: Breitbart by Sean Moran
Democrats in both chambers of Congress are plotting potential investigations into companies, colleges, and even law firms that worked with the Trump administration, according to a report. Axios reported that Democrats are in the early stages of planning to use their subpoena power if they take power after the 2026 midterm elections.
Sens. Adam Schiff (D-CA), Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI), and Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), all of whom serve on the Senate Judiciary Committee, have been involved in the preliminary discussions, according to Axios. Schiff led the first impeachment effort against President Donald Trump as Democrats falsely alleged that the president colluded with Russia during the 2016 presidential election cycle.
The outlet claimed that both Republican and Democrat lawmakers believe that the House is likely to come under control of the Democrat Party after the midterms. The House has broader subpoena authority than the Senate.
While Democrats expect the Trump administration to fight back against investigations, companies, colleges, and other private citizens do not have the same institutional power to fight back against the Democrats’ potential investigations. Democrats would likely investigate why major institutions chose to work with the Trump administration. Axios said they would likely choose to investigate donations for the East Wing renovation as well as funding agreements involving institutions of higher education.
A spokesperson for Schiff noted that the senator has already filed Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests regarding 12 issues, including reported sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein’s bank records, Trump accepting a Qatari plane as a gift, and more. Senate Democrats questioned a fundraiser and lobbyists who were reportedly soliciting donations from major corporations and billionaires for the president’s proposed ballroom.
Breitbart News had previously reported that Democrats have weighed how to target companies should they retake the House.
