Republicans Oppose Democrats Mileage Gas Tax Efforts

SACRAMENTO–California Democratic legislators are pursuing a new mileage tax fee that they say will replace the state’s gas tax as proposed by Assembly Bill 1421 in order to fund transportation infrastructure and repairs. Republicans are opposing the efforts
