Plans for the celebration of Holy Week at the White House will feature a series of events honoring the days leading up to Easter with prayer and worship.

Celebratory events will include a White House Easter lunch on Wednesday, attended by cabinet members, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, and Attorney General Pam Bondi. The week’s festivities will also include musical performances and prayers from well-known faith leaders, including Reverend Franklin Graham and Bishop Robert Barron.

Speaking to Fox News, White House spokeswoman Taylor Rogers said the celebratory events will emphasize President Trump’s commitment to preserving life, protecting religious liberty, and ensuring the freedom to practice faith publicly.

“Millions of Christians across the country will celebrate Jesus Christ conquering death, freeing us from sin, and unlocking the gates of Heaven for all of humanity, and the President is proud to join Americans during this blessed holiday,” Rogers said. “President Trump wishes Christians across America and around the world a very happy Easter. He is risen, indeed!”

President Trump has prioritized the importance of faith in American life throughout his second term. Upon returning to office in January, 2025, Trump established the White House Faith Office to uplift faith-based organizations, which he described as an essential part of American culture and life.

On Wednesday evening, a Catholic Mass led by Father Frank Mann will be held in the Indian Treaty Room. On Thursday, the White House staff will be invited to a worship service featuring multiple faith leaders.

A Passover event will also be held at the White House the following week, on Monday, April 6. The event will host Edan Alexander, who was taken by Hamas following the attacks of October 7, 2023, and held hostage for over 500 days.
