The biggest stories now seem to be: Israel and Iran, the Trump presidency (lawfare and judges), immigration (migrants and illegals), wars, weaponization of government (the deep state) against Trump and conservatives, our nation’s debt, massive inflation, climate change controversy and related expenses of government, industry attempting to address these issues, the Chinese threat, national security, abortion, taxpayer cuts, Ukraine peace, and hatred and violence against Christians. Here are just a few:
Pam Bondi: Over 1,000 Arrested as President Trump Makes D.C. Safe Again

Law enforcement has made over 1,000 arrests in Washington, DC, as President Donald Trump fulfills his mission to clean up the nation’s capital for residents and visitors. U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi in a social media post on Monday highlighted the results of the president’s crackdown on crime.
“Over 1,000 arrests and more than 100 illegal guns seized. Last night, another 86 arrests including multiple suspects accused of assaulting law enforcement and National Guard — and a suspected Tren de Aragua gang member. Every day of our mission we are making DC safe again,” Bondi wrote.
Trump Slams Chuck Grassley for Helping Democrats Block Alina Habba’s Confirmation as U.S. Attorney

President Donald Trump is putting the heat on Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley, blasting him for siding with Democrats to block his nominee, powerhouse attorney Alina Habba, from being confirmed as U.S. Attorney for New Jersey.
By Sunday night, Trump escalated his attack, demanding Grassley abandon the blue slip blockade once and for all:
“I have a Constitutional Right to appoint Judges and U.S. Attorneys, but that RIGHT has been completely taken away from me in States that have just one Democrat United States Senator. This is because of an old and outdated “custom” known as a BLUE SLIP, that Senator Chuck Grassley, of the Great State of Iowa, refuses to overturn, even though the Democrats, including Crooked Joe Biden (Twice!), have done so on numerous occasions. Therefore, the only candidates that I can get confirmed for these most important positions are, believe it or not, Democrats! Chuck Grassley should allow strong Republican candidates to ascend to these very vital and powerful roles, and tell the Democrats, as they often tell us, to go to HELL!”
Trump Fires Federal Reserve Gov. Lisa Cook Over Allegations of Mortgage Fraud

President Donald Trump fired Federal Reserve Gov. Lisa Cook on Monday over allegations of mortgage fraud. In a letter from Trump to Cook that was posted to social media, the president said he had “sufficient cause” to remove her, citing her mortgage fraud allegations. “I have determined that there is sufficient cause to remove you from your position,” Trump wrote.
Appointed by former President Joe Biden in 2022, Cook was recently accused by Federal Housing Finance Agency head Bill Pulte of committing mortgage fraud by listing two primary residences. The president pledged to fire her if she did not resign.
DNC Spent Over $15 Million In 2025 On Kamala Harris Campaign Expenses

In the aftermath of the 2024 presidential election, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) has spent over $15 million towards paying off former Vice President Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign expenses, according to a recent report. Axios reported that in the “first six months of 2025,” the DNC has spent over $15 million, which has gone toward paying off Harris’s presidential campaign expenses.
This comes after the Republican National Committee (RNC) was reported to have had $80 million “on hand” as of the end of June, while the DNC had $15 million, according to Politico.
As a result of the DNC continuing to pay off Harris’s presidential campaign expenses, Democrats have reportedly started to “point fingers at each other.” Democrats have also reportedly “asked Harris and her team to hold more fundraisers and call more donors” in an effort to raise more money, per Axios: Some donors and senior Democrats are angry that Harris’ campaign spent an unprecedented $1.5 billion during her 15-week run and still lost all seven swing states. Some donors have grown reluctant to give the DNC more money as the party is trying to pivot to the 2026 midterms.

Thus opens the presidential proclamation signed yesterday in the Oval Office by President Trump, the day before today’s fourth anniversary of the Abbey Gate massacre which left 13 American service members dead and 32 grievously wounded, plus another 170 Afghans dead.
Since President Trump authorized our first strike on the 8th day of the new administration we have killed 272 jihadis and rescued 72 American hostages from captivity. The United States is back in the business of counterterrorism, and to quote the commander-in-chief after that first successful operation, if you threaten innocent Americans, “We Will Fight You & We Will Kill You.”
Police Chief: Minneapolis Gunman Fired Through Church Windows While Catholic School Students Attended Mass

Two children were killed when a gunman opened fire through church windows during a Mass attended by schoolchildren at a Minneapolis Catholic Church Wednesday morning, Police Chief Brian O’Hara confirmed at a press conference. Breitbart News reported on the shooting as details began to emerge, noting that an unknown number of people had been shot. The shooting occurred just before 8:30 a.m.
During the press conference, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey (D) was emotional and said, “This kind of act of evil should never happen.”
Democrat VA Gubernatorial Candidate Abigail Spanberger Wants to Turn Virginia into a Sanctuary State for Illegal Aliens

Abigail Spanberger, the Democrat candidate for governor of Virginia, is vowing to turn the commonwealth into a sanctuary state by reversing the immigration policies put in place by the current governor, Republican Glenn Youngkin. Spanberger has also made it clear that she is an ally to the transgender agenda, and would allow boys in girls’ locker rooms and bathrooms. On nearly every issue, Spanberger embraces the unpopular positions of the far left that the majority of the country rejected in the 2024 election.
Spanberger has been leading her Republican opponent Winsome Earle-Sears, the current Lieutenant Governor of Virginia, for weeks but Sears has rapidly closed the polling gap just within the last ten days. The race is now nearly tied.
Melania Trump Calls For ‘Pre-Emptive Intervention in Identifying Potential School Shooters’

First lady Melania Trump called for more “pre-emptive intervention” to identify potential school shooters late Wednesday night. Her call came hours after a shooter opened fire on schoolchildren and teachers at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis on Wednesday. The first lady argued that there are often warning signs before mass shooters commit their crimes.
“The tragic mass killing in Minnesota illuminates the need for pre-emptive intervention in identifying potential school shooters. Early warning signs are often evident, with many individuals exhibiting concerning behaviors and making violent threats online prior to their actions,” Melania wrote.
“To prevent future tragedies, it is crucial we look into behavioral threat assessments across all levels of society—beginning in our homes, extending through school districts and of course, social media platforms. Being aware of these warning signs and acting quickly can save lives and make American communities safer,” she added.
Gavin Newsom Joins Democrats in Mocking Child Victims of Catholic School Shooting

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) joined other Democrats in mocking the idea of prayer in the wake of the mass shooting at a Catholic school in Minneapolis this week, noting that the children were praying at the time.
In a post on X, responding to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt’s claim that “prayer works,”, Newsom said: “Their children were literally praying as they got shot at,” implying that prayer does not work.
