There are so many stories making up the mosaic of national/international news that we can’t cover them all every week. The biggest stories now seem to be: Israel and Iran, the Trump presidency (lawfare and judges), immigration (migrants and illegals), wars, weaponization of government (the deep state) against Trump and conservatives, our nation’s debt, massive inflation, climate change controversy and related expenses of government, industry attempting to address these issues, the Chinese threat, national security, abortion, taxpayer cuts, Ukraine peace, and hatred and violence against Christians. Here are just a few:
Trump Names Giuliani First Medal of Freedom Recipient of Second Term

President Donald Trump announced Monday that former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani will receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian honor. The announcement marks the first Medal of Freedom that Trump has awarded during his second term. President Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social that Rudy Giuliani will be the recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
“As President of the United States of America, I am pleased to announce that Rudy Giuliani, the greatest Mayor in the history of New York City, and an equally great American Patriot, will receive THE PRESIDENTIAL MEDAL OF FREEDOM, our Country’s highest civilian honor. Details as to time and place to follow. Thank you for your attention to this matter. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!”
The Presidential Medal of Freedom is given at the discretion of the president to individuals who have made “especially meritorious” contributions to the security or national interests of the country, world peace, cultural endeavors, or other significant public or private achievements.
Trump’s announcement comes one day after Giuliani was hospitalized following a vehicle accident in New Hampshire. According to a statement from Michael Ragusa, Giuliani’s head of security, the former mayor had stopped to assist a domestic violence victim and called 911 before his car was “struck from behind at high speed” while traveling on the highway. Giuliani was diagnosed with a fractured thoracic vertebrae, multiple lacerations and contusions, and injuries to his left arm and lower leg. Ragusa noted that Giuliani was “in good spirits and recovering tremendously.”
Chicago Alderman: ‘We Need the National Guard’ To Help Free Up Cops, I Want Results Like D.C.’s

On Monday’s broadcast of Newsmax TV’s “Newsline,” Chicago Alderman Raymond Lopez said that “We need the National Guard to help take off the pressure from the Chicago Police Department” by guarding city assets the police are having to guard and said that he wants to see crime drop even more than it has in Chicago and he wants the same sort of crime reduction that Washington, D.C. has seen.
Lopez stated, “It’s very easy for Brandon Johnson to put together these orders that are meaningless. But we need the help. We need the National Guard to help take off the pressure from the Chicago Police Department, which is guarding some of the city’s assets. And we could better use their personnel, their intel., and their training in the neighborhoods.”
He added, “It’s interesting that the mayor and the governor have this threshold where they say, we’ve decreased crime just enough. We don’t need to go any further. Well, we all say, let’s keep going. Look what happened in D.C., where the crime went down 84%. Let’s go 12 days without a murder in the city of Chicago. Those are noble aspirations that we can work together with, if we choose to engage President Donald Trump.”

For years, Americans were told their only hope was to roll up their sleeves for Pfizer, Moderna, and the rest of the vaccine cartel. Trillions of dollars flowed into their coffers while dissenting doctors were silenced, families were divided, and countless workers lost their jobs under vaccine mandates.
However, a peer-reviewed study out of Germany now shows that a cheap, decades-old nasal spray, azelastine, may do what the so-called ‘miracle’ experimental COVID jabs never accomplished: stop infection. According to new findings published in JAMA Internal Medicine this week, all it may have taken to block infections was a $10 bottle of over-the-counter nasal spray used for seasonal allergies.

The Deep State with the HHS is going ALL OUT to sabotage HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s efforts to drain the swamp, promote medical freedom, and make America healthy again. Even more ominously, they use an old CIA book to carry out their sinister tasks.
Conservative activist Benny Johnson obtained information from whistleblowers showing that career CDC and HHS bureaucrats are distributing a CIA manual entitled “Simple Sabotage,” which was originally written in 1944. The CDC ranks are currently carrying out this CIA strategy.
The manual tells bureaucrats to slow operations by demanding written orders and feigning ignorance. In the meantime, they are to carry out acts that spread blame across as many people as possible. Employees are next instructed to do things to lower morale and cause confusion. One way to do this is to develop a “non-cooperative” attitude, and get others to do the same. They are to then combine this tactic with “acting stupid” to undermine efficiency.
The manual instructs bureaucrats to drag out work and submit unreadable documents that must be redone. This takes up valuable department time and can grind things to a near halt. Finally, Deep Staters are instructed to spread lies within the department to recruit others in an overall scheme to turn the entire strategy into complete sabotage.

Thus opens the presidential proclamation signed yesterday in the Oval Office by President Trump, the day before today’s fourth anniversary of the Abbey Gate massacre which left 13 American service members dead and 32 grievously wounded, plus another 170 Afghans dead.
Since President Trump authorized our first strike on the 8th day of the new administration we have killed 272 jihadis and rescued 72 American hostages from captivity. The United States is back in the business of counterterrorism, and to quote the commander-in-chief after that first successful operation, if you threaten innocent Americans, “We Will Fight You & We Will Kill You.”
Trump To Sign Executive Order Changing Department of Defense to Department of War

President Donald Trump will reportedly sign an executive order on Friday to change the Department of Defense back to its original name, the Department of War. The president and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth will reportedly change the name to the Department of War as part of the administration’s “warrior ethos” campaign within the Pentagon, per Fox News:
A White House official confirmed to Fox News Digital Thursday that Trump would roll out the name change Friday. The executive order calls for using the Department of War as a secondary title for the Department of Defense, along with phrases like “secretary of war” for Hegseth, according to a White House fact sheet. The order also instructs Hegseth to propose both legislative and executive actions to make the name permanently U.S. Department of War.
Pentagon Warns The ‘Cartel Running Venezuela’ After F-16s Flown Near US Warship

The Pentagon issued a warning to the Maduro government in Venezuela Thursday night after two of the regime’s F-16 fighter jets flew near the USS Jason Dunham, an Arleigh Burke-class Aegis guided missile destroyer that is part of a U.S. fleet patrolling off the coast of Venezuela to combat that government’s drug cartel trafficking.
On Tuesday, President Donald Trump announced the U.S. had destroyed a boat carrying drugs in international waters off the coast of Venezuela. It was later reported all eleven accused narco-terrorists on board who were killed were members of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua.
