I am writing today to share serious concerns about Senate Bill 1305, the proposal by Senator Richardson to reintroduce grizzly bears in California. While the grizzly is an iconic symbol — even our state animal — it was driven to extinction in this state more than a century ago. Today’s California is very different from that era: we are far more populated, land use is more developed, and our current wildlife management systems are already overstretched and inadequate for what exists now.

More than a dozen came forward to receive Christ at the conclusion of the Faith, Family, Freedom night sponsored by both the Simpson University and Shasta College Turning Point USA chapters which also drew around 50 protestors.
