Museum of the Bible Sponsors “America Reads the Bible” (Apr 18-25)

A nation turns when the Word is read aloud. In Nehemiah 8, after generations of exile and compromise, Ezra climbed a wooden platform in Jerusalem and read the Book of the Law aloud from morning until midday. The people listened. They wept. They repented. And a nation was restored.

The reading of the Bible began on Saturday, April 18 in Washington, DC and for one historic week — 84 hours of continuous public Scripture reading — nearly 500 confirmed leaders will read the entire Bible aloud over our nation, from Genesis 1 to Revelation 22, at the Museum of the Bible in the heart of our capital for the April 18-25 “America Reads The Bible.”

California is often called the hardest state in America for biblical values. Written off. Given up on. But you and I know the truth: God is not finished with California. This Monday morning, two voices from our state will stand in the nation’s capital — with the blessing of the White House and nearly 500 national leaders — to declare that biblical truth still has a witness here.
