SACRAMENTO–California voters will have a choice in the Governor’s Race between Steve Hilton’s “Let’s Fix California” and Xavier Becerra’s blind eye to “Child Sex Traffic” that resulted in 319,000 lost Unaccompanied Minor Children.

Hilton’s website (https://stevehiltonforgovernor.com/) details his vision to:

• Cut utility bills in half.
• Eliminate state income tax on the first $150,000.
• Eliminate red tape, fees and regulations in order for young families to purchase starter homes.
• Make early literacy a priority so every student reads by 3rd grade.
• Provide Skills training in every school.
• Bust California’s $745 billion job killer.
• Abolish the $800 small business tax.
• Restore 2nd Amendment Rights in California.
• Create a modern California wildfire prevention plan.
• End California wind and solar mandates and subsidies.
• Fix California’s insurance crisis.
• Make California’s public colleges affordable again.
• Keep California the AI capital of the world.

Becerra’s website (https://www.xavierbecerra2026.com/) focuses on attacking President Donald J. Trump calling him “a man-made natural disaster attacking Californians every day.”  He touts suing the Trump administration as former California Attorney General more than 120 times while winning landmark victories “protecting Obamacare, working Californians and Dreamers from attacks.”

Becerra boasts of expanding health coverage to more than 24 million Americans while U.S. Secretary for Health and Human Services and for “standing up to drug companies to lower prescription costs.” Becerra also touts his support for abortion access, his support for Planned Parenthood funding, and for voting against the Defense of Marriage Act. He also says he is for building affordable housing, cleaner energy and lower bills, support for the homeless and for artificial intelligence.
