In the past 15 years, the tireless work of EIPCa’s trained elections Observers and EIPCa’s Data Analysis Group has amassed troubling information about the fatal flaws in California’s election system.

For the first few years, we met regularly with county elections officials in order to inform and educate them regarding our findings. EIPCa leadership met with the Lead Counsel of California’s Secretary of State, and even made a full-day presentation of our documentation for the California Advisory Committee to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights. Surely, we thought, these public officials would address and resolve the many issues that threatened the integrity of California elections.

ESCONDIDO–Reform California announced at a Jan. 28 zoom webinar that the California Voter ID Initiative has now received 1,159,377 signatures. The goal is to collect 150,000 more signatures and the campaign is asking all volunteers to mail back their signatures no later than Friday, Feb. 6. “This is the final stretch,” says Reform California Chairman Carl DeMaio. “If you have signatures, get them in now.”

Reform California Hits 1 Million Signatures for Voter ID Campaign

ESCONDIDO–Reform California announced at a Jan. 7 zoom webinar that the California Voter ID Initiative has now received 1,001,287 signatures. Since 874,641 “valid” signatures are required to qualify for the 2026 ballot–200,000 additional signatures are being sought. A campaign internal audit shows that signatures gathered by volunteers have an 88 percent validity rate. The petition drive has a 75 percent validity rate overall. “I do not trust California Democrats,” said Reform California Chairman Carl DeMaio–”so I believe it is absolutely necessary that we collect 200,000 extra signatures on CA Voter ID petitions as an ‘insurance policy.’
