Newsmax Reports On 3 Pillars of Rededicate 250

WASHINGTON, D.C. – As America prepares to celebrate its 250th birthday, a major faith event came to the National Mall on Sunday. The D.C. event focused on three central themes organizers call the “pillars” of Rededicate 250:
• “The Miracles That Made Us” — reflecting on God’s providence throughout 250 years of American history and the faith that inspired the nation’s founders.
• “The Miracles Still in Our Midst” — featuring testimonies of healing, courage and spiritual renewal.
• “A New Birth of Faith and Freedom” — a collective prayer asking for God’s blessing, guidance and grace for the next 250 years.
Throughout the day, attendees heard stories honoring defining moments in American history, including the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, the Civil Rights Movement and the resilience displayed after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
Music and worship included Grammy-winning Christian artist Chris Tomlin leading worship.

Others leading worship included Blessing Offor, Aodhan King, Laura Osnes and choirs from Liberty University, Grand Canyon University and Hillsdale College, in addition to several U.S. military bands.
Prominent speakers and participants included: Cardinal Timothy Dolan, Bishop Robert Barron, Pastor Jentezen Franklin, Pastor Jack Graham, Pastor Robert Jeffress, Rabbi Meir Soloveichik, Dr. Ben Carson, author Eric Metaxas and actor Jonathan Roumie, who portrays Jesus in the hit television series “The Chosen.”
President Donald J. Trump, praised the effort as a continuation of the faith tradition that shaped the nation’s founding. “We rejoice in the triumph of the American spirit and in the love and grace of Almighty God,” Trump said in a statement promoting the event. “And just as our Founders came together in prayer before declaring independence, thousands of Americans (gathered)…on the National Mall to rededicate the United States as One Nation Under God.”
Organizers say the event coincided with the 250th anniversary of the Continental Congress’ 1776 “Day of Humiliation, Fasting and Prayer,” when early American leaders called on citizens to seek divine guidance during the Revolutionary War.

CBN’s Gordon And Abigail Robertson Speak At Rededicate 250: 40 Days Of Praying For America–Seeking The Peace Of The Nation From May 25 To July 4th
“Rededicate 250” focused on the country as one nation under God. A lineup of speakers included CBN President Gordon Robertson and his niece Abigail Robertson, host of the CBN News “Heaven Meets Earth” podcast.
In preparation for this historic event, Abigail has been visiting the area and praying over it to get ready. “I was floored and honored when they asked me to be a part of this. They want me to speak. The theme of the day is the miracles that made America, and really coming together to thank God for His favor, His divine favor on our country over the past 250 years, and to rededicate our great nation as one nation under God, and really set the tone for the next 250 years to come,” she explained.
“And as I prayed about whether or not to be a part of it, I’m going to be speaking on miracles still happening today. I felt the Lord tell me to put Hebrews 12 in action and run the race set before me. So I’ve been coming down here. I’ve been running the National Mall and praying for a protective barrier around the National Mall that the Holy Spirit would come and rest on this space, preparing this space for what’s to come on Sunday, May 17th,” she continued.
“So many people are afraid to attend events like this in person, and I just feel like it’s important to come and just say, we’re going to send the charge of angels to protect this event and really just invite the presence of the Holy Spirit as we gather together,” Abigail said.
The Christian Broadcasting Network is calling upon Americans to: “40 Days of Praying For America: Seeking the Peace of the Nation” from May 25 to July 4th.
